lThe Fountain Valley Bass Club is dedicated to sharing information on bass fishing techniques within our membership, teaching youth the fundamentals of bass fishing and the importance of conservation on our fishing resources.  While education and fun is our primary goal, the FVBC boast some of the regions most accomplished anglers.  Our inter-disciplinary members include:  the 2009 women's national fly distance casting champion, the federation of fly fishers certified casting instructor, 2011 Best of the West Fly Casting Accuracy Male and Female Champion, 2009 CBA lady angler of the year, the 2008 & 2010 Colorado state champions, 2012 Colorado state champion runner up, both national contenders in 2015, 2016, five members of the 2010 Colorado State Team, three members of the 2011 State Team including the first women member from the state of Colorado, five members of the 2012 Colorado State Team, four members of the 2013 Colorado State Team , eight members of the 2014 Colorado State Team,14 members of the 2015 State Team and 8 members of the 2016 state team.

Fountain Valley Junior Bass Club
Our junior club meets the first Wednesday of each month, 6 p.m. at the Bass Pro store in Colorado Springs, CO.   All youth are encouraged and welcome to join.   For more information, click on "Our Junior Club" tab at the top of the page.

2017 Colorado State Team.  Five FVBC anglers qualified for the first TBF National Semi Finals at Ute Lake.  Greg Gizzi, Jared Nikirk and Jerod Rosten qualified as boaters and Mark Nikirk and Lamont Gizzi qualified as co-anglers.  They will be joined by Jeff Solverson 2016 FVBC AOY as a boater and Dave Pauly FVBC first runner up AOY as a co-angler.  Pictured above in Mark Nikirk with a 5.11 lbs smallmouth.

2016- FVBC Jackpot Tournaments

The Jackpot tournaments are intended to provide members additional tournaments and non FVBC members an opportunity to experience tournament angling.  No AOY points will be awarded for these tournaments.  A non FVBC member may participate in only one Jackpot tournament before being required to join the club.  The FVBC tournament Director will announce, at the meeting prior to the Jackpot tournament, entry fees, prizes, start and stop times.  All tournaments will be held at Lake Pueblo.

The third Annual FVBC Night Tournament was held July 16 & 17 at Lake Pueblo.  Joe Cortese and Danny Carnevale were crowned tournament champions  with 5 fish for 11.5 lbs.  For complete results check out our Facebook page.
